Dined in on Sunday at 6:30pm with my family for a table of 8 people. The interior & decor of the restaurant is beautiful, especially the chandeliers! We were served around 8 dishes including soup and dessert. Food was very delicious and filling.
Came here for their dim sum — the food was fresh and served hot, with a good variety to choose from. Some items were quite tasty, but a few were too salty for my liking.
Skyview is one of my favorite restaurants. The portions are big they dont skimp out on costs. The food is tasty and not bland. The dining room is a fairly good size that can hold a Wedding banquet. The staff is courteous to serve you.
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Skyview Fusion Cuisine in Markham, ON for a dim sum experience, and it was truly exceptional. Making a reservation a day in advance ensured that our party had a seamless dining experience, and from the moment we arrived, we were greeted with a warm and inviting ambiance. The restaurant's interior is beautifully designed, creating a perfect blend of modern elegance and traditional charm. The soft lighting, tasteful decor, and spacious layout contributed to a relaxing and enjoyable atmosphere. It's a great place to unwind and savor a meal with family or friends. As for the food, it was nothing short of spectacular. The dim sum offerings were diverse and expertly crafted, showcasing the culinary skill of the chefs. From the delicate shrimp dumplings to the savory barbecue pork buns, each dish was bursting with flavor and prepared with the freshest ingredients. The presentation of the dishes was also impressive, adding to the overall dining experience. One standout dish was the steamed rice rolls with shrimp, which were silky smooth and paired perfectly with the soy-based dipping sauce. Another favorite was the crispy taro puffs, which had a delightful crunch on the outside and a creamy, flavorful filling inside. The service at Skyview Fusion Cuisine was top-notch. The staff was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu, ensuring that our dining experience was enjoyable from start to finish. Overall, my dim sum experience at Skyview Fusion Cuisine was fantastic. The combination of delicious food, great ambiance, and excellent service makes it a must-visit spot for anyone in the area. Whether you're a dim sum enthusiast or new to this culinary delight, Skyview Fusion Cuisine will not disappoint.
We visited Skyview Fusion Cuisine for dim sum at 2 PM on a Monday, and it was still bustling—proof of how popular this place is! The dim sum was excellent, with a wide selection that we ordered from a sheet menu. The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Standouts for us were the egg tarts, BBQ pork buns, and the short ribs. Despite the crowd, the service was quick and attentive, which made the experience even better. The ambiance and table settings were elegant, and the whole experience felt special. Whether you’re a dim sum fan or trying it for the first time, I’d highly recommend Skyview Fusion Cuisine! (See the attached photos for some of the dishes we tried—they were as delicious as they look!)
One of my favorite Dim Sum restaurants, the scollop dumpling were very delicious. You need to go early morning, otherwise will wait for long time to get a table.
Skyview is well-known for their char siu and rice, and rightfully so; the char siu is tender, juicy, and well-seasoned. Another highlight for me is the turnip cake. The turnip cake here is one of the best that I've had at dimsum restaurants, with lots of turnip, not much rice flour as filler, and pan-fried to perfection. The shrimp rice noodle rolls were alright, but were served with warmed soy sauce which made it much more enjoyable. The osmanthus flower and coconut milk jelly was also delicious and not too sweet. Other restaurants will immediately give you mustard and chili sauce when you order certain dishes, but Skyview makes you request it (twice) before they give it to you. Service is a little slow.
Skyview Fusion Cuisine is hands-down one of the best dim sum spots in Markham! Though there was a 1-hour wait, the experience was well worth it. Skyview Specialty Dim Sum Platter (20.90): This beautifully presented dish stole the show. Served in an elegant cage, it included an assortment of egg tarts, BBQ pork buns, mango and papaya jellies, mung bean pastries, and oranges for a festive touch. Each item was well-made and delicious. Baked BBQ Pork Bun Pastry: A must-try! The flaky, crispy exterior pairs perfectly with the savory-sweet BBQ pork filling. Deep-Fried Seafood Bean Curd Roll: Packed with shrimp and other seafood, these rolls were crispy and flavorful. Perfect for seafood lovers! Clam & Preserved Egg Congee: Light, silky, and comforting. The clams added a fresh, briny touch, and the congee paired beautifully with the richer dim sum dishes. Musang King Durian Tart: If you’re a fan of durian, this tart is a must. The buttery crust and rich, creamy filling were indulgent and satisfying. The average spend is 25 per person, and portions are generous. The interior is spacious with a lively vibe, making it great for family gatherings or weekend brunches. Pro tip: Arrive early, grab a ticket, and head to Costco next door while you wait! A fantastic spot for authentic dim sum with a modern touch. Highly recommended!
